Picked up this shelving out of curiosity because I needed a proper solution for my webcam that’s been precariously perched on top of my monitor. It always gets nudged out of place, so I was really keen on a solid, secure platform.
The shelf was easy to attach behind my monitor and easy to assemble. It even came with a screw that fits underneath my webcam, which was a nice bonus. I don’t plan on loading it up with extra accessories (like lights, etc.) right now, but it’s good to know I’ve got that option if I do include/change my setup in the future.
I also bought another shelf for my wife’s setup. She uses a 32" screen (I use a 27" monitor). I had to raise the shelf backing higher on her bigger screen to get it sitting right. But even with only the top part secured behind the 32" monitor, it still worked well and feels stable enough for her webcam.
Overall, it’s been a neat little upgrade for both of our desks.
Very good product, well made and clear instructions like all other Desky products i own. Some monitors have deeper set mounting points ( mine is an AOC). If the product shipped with additional 5-10mm spacers and appropriately longer bolts, the product could be mounted without any guess work. I had to travel to Bunnings twice to buy the right length bolts and suitable washers.
I bought this as a shelf to place my soundbar under my monitor.
It was a perfect fit.
Ordering was quick and easy, it was delivered within a couple days. Overall good experience.
I cant wait to order my new desk.
ignore the cabling..
The product is of high quality and was straightforward to install. However, the stand is slightly longer than anticipated for my 34-inch monitor, and I may shorten it later.
It’s just a metal shelf, I thought. Expectations were blown away once received, this is a quality piece of hardware. Very happy with the purchase and Desky!
Easy to set up and very useful. I now have a camera and 2 lights attached to my monitor caddy.
From ordering to installing can’t recommend Desky enough. Easy ordering process, fast delivery and a great product for a good price.
Sturdy and best place to get it in Canada
Honestly, best prices I could find these Caddy shelfs in Canada.
Ordered 3 for my setup. Although do note that these are pre "drilled" for 100 x 100 vesa mounts and one of my monitors is 75 x 75
No biggie though, took my trusty drill and diy'd myself some holes to mount to my monitor.
Perfect for my Fill lights and webcam, makes the setup clean.
Shipping was fast as well.
Saved website to bookmarks, looking to pick up a drawer as well to add to setup when I get some spare cash.
Very easy to install, and the perfect fit for multiple accessories. Mounts easily to VESA mount and still allows for connection to monitor arm. Well worth the purchase if you have a lot of accessories to mount on your monitor.
Honestly I just like having accessories. Don’t think I’m even going to use it. But I love it.
Installed in combination with a monitor mount. Sits well. Difficult to get the shelf level without a level tool, but is a good solution for holding a camera above your screen.
In combination with a phone mount, it’s a good tool for using your phone as a webcam.
Easy to install - just screws in between the monitor and the arm mounting plate.
It feels solid and has no trouble holding the webcam and light I have on it.
The screw slots are wide enough to fit the standard 1/4-20 camera mounting screws so attaching my parts was simple.
