Monitor arm works as you would expect. Feels sturdy and is adjustable.
The Desky Single Slim Aluminium Monitor Arm is user-friendly to assemble, and its overall construction and quality are commendable. The built-in cable channels are spacious enough to accommodate power, video, and microphone/camera cables. The motion flexibility of the adjustment mechanism enables you to position your monitor conveniently. However, the only drawback with this arm and the dual version is the screen angle tilt adjustment, which is challenging to fine-tune and could be enhanced. Achieving the desired tilt requires the assistance of two individuals, particularly for larger 32-inch monitors. One person is needed to hold the monitor in place while the other tightens the adjustment screw. The base of the arm is robust and adjusts to various desk thicknesses, and it features a wide clamp underneath the desk to secure it, which is crucial to prevent damage to the desk. In summary, you will be satisfied with your purchase.
We are using the arm to create a mobile gaming station. Works perfectly. We love that the design, especially the slim aluminum tubes, look more elegant and less bulky than the standard robot looking arms.
It was very simple to assemble. And the smooth adjustment allows us to tilt and move it easily. Allows us to use the gaming station in a chair or couch or even standing up if necessary. We may attach it eventually on a gaming desk but at the moment it works great for us.
Holds the monitor nicely and i can swing it around smoothly as well.
The quality is consistently outstanding—solid, sleek, and very well-crafted. It not only supports my monitors perfectly but also adds a touch of class to my workspace. The product feels durable and refined, absolutely worth the investment. Delivery was fast and seamless, just as expected. Desky continues to deliver excellence, and I would confidently recommend their products to anyone looking for premium ergonomic solutions.
Feels like a really well built arm and attn to detail compared to other under $100 arms. Def got the look of the fancier arms but in a much smaller profile. The silvery coating has a polished satin look and blends in well, not gaudy. As a designer, I am curious why it has a rough powder-coated surface which gives it kind of a pottery vibe, but I think this is to prevent scratches from showing up. It moves in all directions quite well though not as smoothly as the pricier competitors which is fine. I don't think this thing will hold up to a heavy monitor its really designed for lightwieght ones which is also fine in my case. They should include an additional rubber pad for the contact point with the desk as the little stickers don't have much grip.
Great strong, smooth monitor arm. Bought this after buying (and returning) a higher priced one that didn’t have as much mobility. This one is really well made and perfect for my set up.
I love this monitor arm. It was simple to install, and the support team was so helpful on chat (it turns out I didn't read the other side of the instructions). Would recommend to anyone.
Overall the item is quite good and fits my purposes. Just a couple of small things that could be improved. The instructions are a little unclear and dont explain what the tension adjustment actually does - I've tried both ways but couldnt feel a difference. The cap that goes over the spring adjustment also falls off quite easily. I would recommend the product overall as these were minor things.
Great quality, and style. Setup was a little tricky but not too bad
Very stable, make my setup looks much better.
Easy to install and sturdy.
