The Desky Dual Custom Melamine Sit Stand Desk stands, and sits, head and shoulders above its' competitors.
Like all our products, it features world-class stability at all heights. Ranging from 60cm right up to 125cm, it is ergonomically suited for 95% of all user heights. We could tell you about the motor which raises the desk at a steady, but rapid 36mm per second. Or we could rave about the smooth motion that ensures your desktop remains 100% flat and stable.
And then of course there are the health benefits. Sit-stand desks allow you to keep active during the workday. This has been shown to boost blood flow, energy, creativity and productivity. Desky offers a wide range of hardwood desk tops, sourced from various regions to ensure quality and sustainability. Our Walnut wood comes from America, along with White oak. White ash is sourced from France and White Oak is also sometimes sourced from Germany. We also utilize Teak wood and Saman from Laos, finally Pheasantwood from Vietnam.
Each hardwood is carefully selected and crafted to create durable and beautiful desk tops. With our commitment to responsible sourcing, you can enjoy the natural beauty of hardwood while supporting sustainable practices.
Steel Reinforcements: Our Desky wooden desks have vertically inserted bars of reinforced steel beneath the tabletop, further strengthening our desks' already best-in-class strength, stability and thickness.
This significant upgrade can also help to reduce wobbles and perhaps eliminate the possibility of warping. The quantity of reinforcements included on each tabletop varies by size, with more being added to longer table tops
Precision Slots: Desky is pro actively avoiding even the tiniest risk of warpage with the help of precision cut slots, and our leading 1" desktop thickness.
The slots are precisely cut gaps using CNC technology that are embedded to the underside of table surfaces. These spacers offer the desk adequate flexibility and space to expand and contract organically without putting other portions of the table top under stress.
Threaded Inserts: Desky Desktop Inserts are designed and placed on our desktops with precision engineering to ensure optimal longevity. These machined threads enable precise tabletop installation on the frame, as well as the ability to build and disassemble your Desky as needed. This will ensure that your tabletop lasts a lifetime.
Desky’s wooden desktop range contains no Formaldehyde resin in the manufacturing process. Meaning your home and office will be safe from any harmful chemicals.
Our desktops are air dried, coated with a single-pack lacquer and then air-cured before being packaged up. This process protects the beautiful natural finish of the wood, enhances its natural grains and tones and ensures there are no volatile organic compounds once finalised.
Desky promises that the highest quality materials and manufacturing procedures are met to ensure no harm to users young or old. All of our desktops cause no risk to any working environment.
Our clean and sustainable manufacturing procedures maintain the highest level of engineering and craftsmanship resulting in an odour-free clean work surface that won’t stink out your office with a new furniture smell.
Embrace comfort and innovation with features like Siri integration, collision avoidance, and a sedentary reminder.
Your desk, your way. No compromise.

Our solid wood desktops are built to last and will actually harden over time. While they can get scratches and dents, many people feel this simply adds character. As the wood ages naturally, its colour may also shift, becoming slightly lighter or darker. Each desktop is finished with a smooth, durable polyurethane coating for protection.
Our Hardwood desktops are made from 100% solid wood and are built to last. The desktop is thicker than most desktops at 25mm and there are metal support braces within the desktop itself to help prevent sagging under load and at longer lengths.
Yes, we offer this frame in 4 colours: white, matte black, space grey, and wheat.
All of our Pheasantwood desktops have a unique front and back 'Live' edge. This means that no two desktops are the same and each edge will have the characteristic undulations of the natural shape of the timber slab it was cut from.
Please note: the edges will vary from square to rounded and each will vary in terms of the slope of the edge and the undulating shape of the edge. The first corner image on the product listing helps to best show how the edge can look
Yes, our Hardwood desktops come with pre-drilled holes for easy assembly of the desktop to your desk frame. You do not need a power drill or tools, just a Phillips head screwdriver and the included hex keys.

Yes, we offer the same desk frames that we use for all of our height adjustable sit stand desks as frames only so you can use an existing desktop. This is a great option for existing office spaces that have matching cabinetry and furniture. You can view our Sit Stand Desk Frames here.
Assembly will take as little as 30 minutes and each Hardwood desktop we supply comes with pre-drilled holes to make assembly as quick as possible without needing any power tools. You can do this by yourself but we do recommend having two people to turn the desk over when finished assembly.
For detailed, step by step instructions please watch the assembly video for each desk or refer to the instructions manual included with each desk.
Our M8 lockable caster wheels are compatible with the Dual Desk. Please note that using these wheels will raise the desk height by 8 cm.
We recommend leaving your desk plugged in continuously – the desk has a low draw power supply to help minimise power consumption.
